Swimming and skating are over for this school year. Thank you to all the parents who came and helped. Exchange of the leveled readers continues every Monday. We will be visiting the school library as usual on Wednesday. Our last times table test, this Friday, will include everything up to and including 7×7=49, which is as far as the grade 3 curriculum goes. We will also continue to play recorders every day. Apart from that, this week will be devoted to tying up loose ends. Next week is March break and there will be no school.

After March break the class begins our science unit on “Strong and Stable Structures” and a social studies unit called “Living and Working in Ontario”. After the break, we will resume our studies of math by focusing on measuring the passage of time using clocks and calendars.
